• Crop safety of ryegrass pre-emergent herbicides in wheat. Demonstration of disc versus tyne seeders and interaction with sowing depth
• Winter fallow / at-planting knockdown options for ryegrass
• Herbicide programs for grass weed management in wheat (2 trials applied - awaiting weed emergence)

Trial summary

• Knockdown, at-planting or early post-emergent herbicide strategies for ryegrass, wild oats or Phalaris in wheat (6 trials)
• Integrated management (crop competition plus herbicides) of annual ryegrass, wireweed or prickly lettuce in wheat and in chickpea (6 trials)
• Annual ryegrass control in herbicide-resistant (glyphosate and IMI) canola systems
• Pre-emergence herbicide options for milk thistle in chickpea
